POSITION SUMMARY:

Employee will be assigned to either Counselor or Instructor responsibilities. Responsibilities include giving leadership, direction, and supervision to children in a full-day basketball or soccer camp setting for ages 5-12 years. Employee will be Leading the group in organized activities and focusing on the safety, enjoyment, and positive relationships of each child.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Soccer Camp starts on July 8th and runs through July 19th.
Basketball Camp starts on July 29th and runs through August 16th.
- Training starts the week prior for either camp.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Position requires both adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification
High School Diploma Preferred.
Minimum age of 18.
Experience supervising children. Ability to visually observe children and to physically intervene when the safety of a child could be compromised.
Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor program settings and activities.
Physically able to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
Must meet all state requirements for working in a licensed child care facility.
Comfortable supervising children in the pool
